With the shortage of PPE that our healthcare providers are facing recently, it has been a breath of fresh (virus free) air to see that others are taking their time to sew protective masks for local hospitals and healthcare offices. We have been a lucky recipient from a handful of caring individuals in our community that have made these masks for our nurses and staff. Our nurses continue to serve our patients who can not go without our care and these masks will help us ensure we can continue our services without fear.
Pictured above is one of our Hospice Volunteers, Jan Krehbiel with her donation of hand made masks. We have also received donations from Peggy Bibb, Thelma Shy and her lovely grand daughters, as well as Starla Carroll. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to all of these lovely people for their kind hearts and generous hands!
Pictured above left sporting these stylish masks are Judy Ray, CA, and above left is Hillary Hakenwerth, RN BSN.
